HR Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join our global team as we develop a business partnering approach to the way we manage our human resources.


Location
Cambridge, UK with the option to work a hybrid arrangement

Full time
Full-time (35 hours per week) or Part-Time

Contract
12 months fixed term

Salary
£45,000 pro rata per annum plus a competitive 12% pension benefit

Annual Leave
25 days pro rata per annum in year 1, increasing by 1 day pa to 28 days


BirdLife International is the largest international Partnership for nature conservation.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join our global team as we develop a business partnering approach to the way we manage our human resources. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting our teams across the organization.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract, however there may be the possibility to extend or convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven track record of delivering HR within an international environment, in a generalist or business partnering role.
  • Relationship building, facilitation, and coaching skills, and the ability to bring remote and hybrid teams together.
  • Experience in the lifecycle of people activity including employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
  • A business partnering mindset, a strong team ethic, and an ability to operate within a matrix management structure.
  • Experience in partnering in a global setting would be an advantage, and a willingness to work across different time zones.
  • A second language such as Spanish or French will be an advantage.
