Digital Communications and Campaigns Officer

We are looking for someone to lead on the engagement of BirdLife’s external audiences through its various digital channels.

Contract
1 year fixed term

Salary
£32,000 to £35,000 dependant on skills and experience pro rata plus competitive 12% pension benefit (subject to location)

Annual Leave
25 days pro rata in year 1, increasing by 1 day pa to 28 days (subject to location)

We are looking for someone to lead on the engagement of BirdLife’s external audiences through its various digital channels, including social media, the website and awareness-raising campaigns, while also providing support on fundraising appeals and e-mail marketing and communications.

Ideally you will have:

  • A degree in a discipline related to communications and marketing.
  • Experience in communications, social media and digital community management.
  • Experience in digital campaigning or marketing, with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
  • The ability to write and deliver effective, audience-focused communications and campaigns.
  • A strong track record of effectively using and developing a presence on, key social media platforms.
  • Good knowledge of environmental topics.
